Employers know that healthy employees are their biggest asset. Increasingly, employers are offering worksite wellness programs as a way to improve employee health and productivity and reduce long-term health care costs. Health Action’s iWORKwell campaign aims to help Sonoma County employers adopt a culture of wellness. iWORKwell is a partnership of business, non-profit and government agencies that support local employers to develop and implement worksite wellness programs. Workforce Wellness Symposiums

On Wednesday, March 27, 2013, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital hosted the most recent iWORKwell Symposium.

Keynote Speaker Jen Freitas, HR Manager from Clif Bar, gave an overview of their comprehensive wellness program. Worksite Wellness Toolkit

If you would like to create a workplace that encourages a healthy lifestyle and helps employees acquire and maintain healthy habits, click here for the Worksite Wellness Toolkit. Developed by the Northern California Center for Well-Being, the Worksite Wellness Toolkit will help you:

• Identify the strengths and weaknesses of your wellness policies.
• Develop an action plan to implement or improve a worksite wellness program.
